Kayak Crystal River and snorkel it's many springs. This trip packs a double punch. Manatees are common sightings but best seen in January through April.
Take a step back in time. Ichetucknee river starts in a state park and winds through an un-touched nature preserve that is home to beautiful wildlife such as heron, ducks and a myriad of fish. With crystal clear waters throughout, we'll paddle downstream and under a canopy of green.
Homossassa River plays winter host to manatee and various other wildlife. We'll paddle to the manatee enclosure at Homosassa State Park and likely find a few visitors on the outside nearest to the spring.
We rotate between three different locations to kayak and often snorkel with the manatees. It's an experience you won't want to miss!

We'll explore the Homossassa River and saddle up just outside of the State Park protected manatee area. We'll probably even see some visitors. This paddle is about an hour north of Tampa in the heart of the Homossassa community. Due to high boating traffic, this tour only offered in Late fall and winter months.

Winter Fun: Fossiling Peace River is best from November to March when the water levels are low. Average temps are still in the 70's so it's great for locals and visitors alike.
